This boot jack is an advertising piece.  It is made of unfinished wood, with leather along the edge where the heel of the boot rests as on the bottom to keep it from scratching the floor.  There is a tooled leather label on the face that reads "Boot-Town, Plano, Dallas, Garland, Sherman, Ft. Worth".  All of the leather pieces are attached with tiny staples. Very minimal wear and tear as seen in the photo.
